Ground Zero showed Saskatoon its Pride! Ground Zero strives to be an inclusive, safe space for all youth to be themselves. Many youth that have lived at Ground Zero have identified as part of the LGBTQ+ community. At the beginning of the month, one of the youths in the home suggested that Ground Zero participate in the pride parade. Staff then entered the Outreach Van into the parade and planned with the youth to walk alongside the van! The week before, staff purchased a bunch of materials to create flower crowns for the youth to wear. The day of staff stocked up on water bottles, and everyone dressed up in colorful outfits with their flower crowns.
