Stability and safety for My Homes resident

Prior to moving into the My Homes, DB resided with family and was moved around to multiple placements, where she experienced abuse and faced a lot of adversity. Since moving into the program, DB was able to gain some stability and safety in her life and began to thrive. Where once she struggled with school and low attendance, DB quickly began improving once she set her goals on graduating. DB was able to pass two classes during the third quarter in March – with the monumental achievement of a perfect grade – 100% - in her Indigenous Studies class. By the end of March, DB had a 91% in her cosmetology course and a 75% in math. DB has been proud of the hard work she has been doing on her education since moving into the My Homes.
