During October, there were a lot of fun things to do with Halloween. Staff were able to take a group of youth to “Trees of Horror” at pike lake. This is large walk though indoor and outdoor haunted house. One of our youths had initially said he was not interested, but after going he was over the moon excited. He said he was not interested at first because haunted houses were something he has never had the opportunity of experiencing, but now that he has, he expressed it was so much fun for him. Youth and staff also painted pumpkins together. On Halloween we had a few youths wanting to dress up and go tick-or-treating. Ground Zero Outreach took the youth trick-or-treating, to the EGADZ Halloween party and to a haunted house afterwards.
