Operation Help

Operation Help is an innovative, non-traditional, inter-agency approach to the issue of individuals exploited and abused through the sex trade in Saskatoon. The principals associated to Operation Help focuses on alternative measures using positive support mechanisms to encourage lifestyle change.

Operation Help is comprised of partnerships in an effort to effect positive change on the lifestyle of those exploited and abused through prostitution.

Operation Help works to enable those involved in prostitution to access immediate support from the various agencies that can provide the expertise or services required to assist each individual in their transition.

The founding partners include EGADZ Youth Center, The Ministry of Social Services, and Saskatoon Police Services. As this Initiative has evolved the partnership has grown to include representatives from the Saskatoon Health Region's Addiction Services, an Elder, and peer support people.
